The University of Lincoln has risen to 17th in The Guardian University Guide 2020, published today (7th June 2019).

This latest success follows a series of great achievements over the last year including a multi-million pound grant to advance research into a ‘Holy Grail’ medical imaging system for cancer patients, the establishment of Lincolnshire’s first medical school in partnership with the University of Nottingham, and a top ten ranking in the National Student Survey.

The University was rated TEF Gold – the highest standard possible – in a national independent assessment of teaching quality in higher education. It also has established fantastic links with organisations including Siemens, Thomson Reuters Foundation and The Guardian which create excellent opportunities for our students.

Professor Mary Stuart, Vice Chancellor of the University of Lincoln, said: “The University of Lincoln goes from strength to strength. I am extremely proud of this achievement and grateful to all staff and students for contributing to our ongoing successes.

“We are grateful to the community of Lincolnshire for providing such a supportive home for our exceptional students and we hope they share in our sense of pride at these successes.”

The Guardian University Guide 2020 was published today for undergraduates choosing courses for 2020 entry. The guide, produced by Intelligent Metrix, ranks universities according to: spending per student; student/staff ratio; graduate career prospects; entry requirements; a value-added score; student continuation rates; and student satisfaction, based on results from the annual National Student Survey.
