Five-Star Score for Lincoln in Prestigious Global Ratings

The University of Lincoln, UK, has been awarded a top five-star score overall in the prestigious QS Stars rating system of global universities. The QS Stars rating system is compiled by education analysts Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the world's leading provider of services, analytics, and insight to the global higher education sector.
The University of Lincoln, UK, has been awarded a top five-star score overall in the prestigious QS Stars rating system of global universities. As well as receiving an overall five-star rating, Lincoln also achieved the maximum score in seven other categories: teaching, employability, internationalisation, facilities, social responsibility, inclusiveness and a specialist criteria award for its Accounting and Finance subject area. The QS Stars rating system was launched in 2009 as a way to assess higher education institutions more broadly than rankings alone. Universities are assessed in at least eight categories according to dozens of set indicators which are chosen based on global standards and best practice. Five stars is the maximum score that can be achieved in a given category.

Earlier this year the University of Lincoln was listed among the world’s elite universities, placed in the global top 1,000 in the QS World University Rankings 2021. The University is rated Gold, the highest standard possible – the national teaching Excellence Framework and is ranked among the UK’s top 20 universities in The Guardian University Guide 2020.
