Renowned DJ and University Technician and Learning Advisor Craig Bratley is riding high at the top of the charts after his latest single reached the number one spot in the Juno Downloads Dub Chart.
No In Between features the vocal talents and lyrics of singer songwriter Amy Douglas, who has previously worked with Horse Meat Disco, Roisin Murphy, Luke Soloman and Soul Clap.
The track has been gaining airtime on radio stations across the country and has received critical acclaim from the music industry, with legendary BBC 6 Music DJ Don Letts commenting: “….the dub hits the spot!”
Craig said: “It was great to be able to work with someone as talented as Amy and to see such fantastic feedback from my peers and people I hold in high regard.”
Alongside his established music career, Craig helps the next generation of DJs and producers to hone their skills in his role as a Senior Technician in the University of Lincoln’s College of Arts, where he supports students studying music and audio production in the University’s on-campus recording studios.
Students on the BA (Hons) Sound and Music Production course have the opportunity to learn from Craig’s extensive knowledge and experience, and to work alongside him to gain the practical skills necessary for a career in the music production industry.
Craig said: “I hope that this highlights that we have a fantastic team of Technicians at the University who have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with our students.”
