The BSc Sports and Exercise Science programme has been endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).
The accreditation from BASES recognises the high-quality education and training being provided to students.
Cathy Thomas, Head of School, Sports Exercise and Science said:
“I am delighted that the BSc Sport and Exercise Science programme has been recognised and endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES).
“Having recently achieved accreditation from Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) which confirms that the content of our programme maps the standards required within the fitness sector, our students are well placed for a range of employment opportunities in the sport and exercise science industry.”
