Some of Lincoln’s newest arrivals are on their way, as the ever-popular Lambing Sunday event returns to Riseholme next month, and everyone is invited to come along.

PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS NOW SOLD OUT – ENTRY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY.

The charity event takes place on Sunday 5 March between 10am and 4pm at Riseholme Park Farm and will raise money for the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network.

Come along and meet the lambs in the lambing shed, the Lincoln Red Cattle at the Roundhouse, or browse at one of the stalls.

If you are hungry, there will be tasty food available such as crepes, pizza and tasty bakes. Children can join in with the nature trail or be creative at the craft table.

There will also be a demonstration of cutting-edge robotics from the Lincoln Institute for Agri-food Technology.

Matt Bagley, Riseholme Estate and Farm Manager said:

“As Spring approaches, we are at the magical time of the year when new life and new growth are all around us.

“We look forward to welcoming everybody to share this special time with us.”

“As well as our Spring Lambs there will be many other stalls and activities for everyone to get involved with”

Tickets are £2.50 each and booking in advance is strongly advised. Tickets may be available on the day but cannot be guaranteed.

Riseholme Park Farm is a working farm and visitors are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

To protect farm livestock dogs are not allowed at this event, with the exemption of guide dogs only.

Entry to the event is via the A15 Lawress Hall entrance to the University of Lincoln’s Riseholme Campus.  The farm is a short walk from the carpark. Disabled parking is available upon request – please email us once you have booked your tickets to confirm.
