Dubai Design Partnership Brings Benefits for Lincoln Students

Students at the University of Lincoln have been able to access advice and support from the prestigious Dubai-based creative design and architecture firm, 4Space Design.
4Space’s award-winning work can be seen across the globe and their team have shared their valuable expertise and experience across a number of sessions with Interior Architecture and Design students at the University of Lincoln.
The sessions have covered a number of topics, including the use of lighting in interior spaces and the production of visuals, and are aimed at increasing the students’ understanding of the concepts around interior architecture and design and help set them up for a future in the industry. 4Space have also helped the students get to grips with how the latest technological advancements can benefit their work, including the use of VR and incorporating AI into the development of design concepts.
The partnership between 4Space and the University is set to continue across the upcoming academic year, with series of workshops to be planned which will be integrated in to a cinema design project for second year Interior Architecture and Design students.
4Space’s collaborative partnership with the University of Lincoln has been facilitated by Nafece Khan, Head of Project’s at 4Space Design and an alumni of Lincoln International Business School – having graduated from Lincoln in 2006 with a BA (Hons) Business Management with specialism in Entrepreneurship.
4Space Design have also joined Advisory Board for the University’s School of Architecture and the Built Environment, a role which will see them provide high level advice and counsel to the School Executive Committee and faculty members on a range of strategic issues and helping to ensure that its programmes are fit-for-purpose and future-focused.
