The University of Lincoln features in a UKRI video to showcase how Research England supports small but excellent research units to grow and develop via the Expanding Excellence in England Fund (E3).
Part of LIAT, the Lincoln Agri-Robotics project (funded by E3) is approaching the final two months of the funded period. The £7m funding has enabled essential infrastructure and capacity building to take place.
The video features an overview of both Lincoln Agri-Robotics and Lincoln Autonomous Systems, as well as an interview with Simon Pearson, Director of LIAT, who discusses the vital role of innovation in the future of agri-food, and the importance of robotics for crop picking and crop monitoring. Also interviewed is Paula Eves, Senior Project Manager at Lincoln Agri Robotics.
