Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Award Success for University
The University of Lincoln had a major success at the Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Champion Awards last night, after winning the Training Provider of the Year Award.
In attendance were a team from the University comprised of Carl Baxter and Albany Ward from the National Centre for Food Manufacturing, along with Ann Lloyd and Sharon Green from the Office for Apprenticeships and Skills
Professor Sharon Green, Dean for Executive Education and Skills said:
“The University of Lincoln’s apprenticeship provision has apprentices and their employers at the heart of everything we do.
“Our apprenticeship programme teams strive to provide an outstanding learning experience whilst striving for excellence in our proactive approach to quality improvements and curriculum offer”
“We are delighted to win this award, which is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone across academic and professional services involved in the delivery of apprenticeships.”
The Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Champion Awards 2024, presented by Lincolnshire County Council, Lincolnshire Public Service Compact, and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, took place last night at The Showroom.
The awards seek to acknowledge and celebrate individuals and organisations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to apprenticeships, exhibited excellence in skills development, and shown a clear dedication to fostering success and growth within the Greater Lincolnshire region.
Ann Lloyd, the University’s Deputy Director of Apprenticeship and Skills, who completed her Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship last year, was shortlisted for the Greater Lincolnshire Apprentice Champion Award, one of the three awards presented on the night.
