LIAT in the Spotlight at Westminster for Evidence Week

This week, a team from the Lincoln Institute of Agri-Food Technology (LIAT) will be sharing their research and knowledge with MPs and other key figures at the UK Houses of Parliament.
Prof Simon Pearson, Prof Elizabeth Sklar and Steve Brewer from LIAT will be taking part in Evidence Week from Sense about Science, taking place from Monday 20 to Friday 24 January in Parliament.
Evidence Week brings together the public, researchers and politicians to discuss how scientific evidence is used and scrutinised at Westminster. These types of events are vital for the shaping national policy surrounding science and technology.
On Wednesday 22 January, the work of LIAT will be on show, and the team will have a chance to speak to MPs, as well as key legislators and decision makers at Parliament. This will be alongside a quick-fire policy briefing on how robotics can transform the agricultural sector.
