Simon Pearson Gives Agri-Tech Innovation Talk in Brisbane

Professor Simon Pearson will be representing the University of Lincoln and LIAT in Australia this week at one of the world's largest Agri-Tech showcases.

Evoke AG is a globally-leading agri-food and technology event, this year being held in Brisbane, Australia, where leaders from all over the sector gather to drive forward innovation.

Taking place on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 February, the ‘largest showcase of innovation in the southern hemisphere’ will deliver workshops and welcome speakers from all over the world.

Simon Pearson will be on the presenting panel for ‘An autonomous future: Redefining agriculture through AI and robotics’ on Wednesday 19 February. The session will dive into the revolutionary potential of artificial intelligence, robotics and human collaboration to transform the future of food production. It will explore the synergy between technology and people, and what agriculture will look like in an age of automation – an area that Simon is greatly experienced in.
