University Hosts the National Teachers’ and Advisors’ Conference

The National Teachers’ and Advisors’ Conference 2024 took place at the University of Lincoln earlier this week, providing a valuable platform for education professionals to come together, enhance their skills, and integrate the latest educational thinking into their classrooms.

This year’s Conference drew more than 240 bookings from individuals at over 75 institutions across the UK, giving attendees the chance to forge new and lasting networks across the sector following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Attendees at this year’s Conference were able to attend a range of engaging and informative sessions on a variety of topics delivered by industry experts and innovators, including hearing how Artificial Intelligence can be used strategically to maximise efficiency and best support students.

Insights were also shared into how young people can be supported in making the most of their University journey, whilst an expert panel discussed how higher education can help prepare students for the workplace.

Teachers were also able to attend subject specific CPD sessions, led by specialists from across the country, who shared their invaluable practical knowledge and explored the latest thinking on subject delivery.

Reflecting on the year’s Conference, Ian McGowan, Head of Schools and Colleges Engagement at the University, said: “It was great to see the Conference so well supported by partners and attendees across the sector and from all over the country. It was a great opportunity to collaborate and build vital networks with people throughout the education industry.
