Research Development at the University of Lincoln has been recognised for driving innovation in the sector by the Association of Research Managers and Administrators (ARMA).

The Research and Development team was one of four nominees in the ‘Research Management Team of the Year’ category at the ARMA Conference, held at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 18 June.

The Awards Working Group at ARMA noted that the team has “forged a fresh approach to pre-award research” and that “its achievements are a testament to its creativity, resilience, and commitment to driving innovation in research development and management.”

The Research Development Team delivers between 600 and 800 research funding bids every year, influencing the University’s strategic direction and raising its profile regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Prof. Stuart Humphries, Dean of Research Environment at the University of Lincoln, said: “The highly commended award for the team is truly well-deserved, recognising their commitment to the University and their incredible efforts in co-developing and securing multi-million-pound research grants.

“As valued members of the institution, we are incredibly proud of their success and this validation of their teamwork, innovation, and effort.”
